Phase 1 has two armor plates (which we will see in Phase 2 and 3 later as well), a SAMs launcher (three at a time), and two Double-Chain Guns exclusive to this boss. Hey wait a minute.this is the same amount as phases as the Nasty Owl! Meh, now to the attacks. This boss has the most phases so far, Phase 1 in the front, Phase 2 and 3 on each wing, and Phase 4 on the back. I guess they were trying to go for a Nasty Owl Vibe? You know, with the several phases and the plane-theme? Anyway, back to the point. Most often, the second phase is significantly weaker for some reason, and also most often, it is left defenseless after it's first phase is beaten. Like most non-basic plane enemies, it does have two sections, one with the tank, and the one for the body itself.

It does fire two pulses then pauses to recharge its laser using the tank attached to its rear. Unlike the Railgun Spider, it actually shoots earlier than it. This time, instead of the Railgun from Stage 4, it has a tank on its back and shoots lasers. After all 3 targets are down, the Boss starts exploding and you win.įor the last time, I get it's not a boss, but it IS the strongest entity.

A few seconds after they start firing, a Strong Single-Shot Turret appears (the reason it is strong is because the bullets are larger and more pink). Like the Rocket Launcher in the Canned Dread fight, firing Rocket Launcher open up from either side of the plane. The good news is, this is the only attack in this phase. The wings flip around, revealing Red Directional Cannons. The two wings have Chain Guns (blue bullets), and the central turret constantly shoots without breaks. Wait, two blades on the helicopter, but they're on either wing? I wonder what would happen if that was in real life. Once Card 11 is collected, the Disarming Field is *dead*, but the EMP missile (like Stage 5 in Sky Force Anniversary) will exist instead. The disarming field is a guaranteed EMP, because you can't shoot it down, and you can't fly around it either. Not really a boss, again, but does get in the way MAJORLY. With such high health and the level of the game you will be at, it might take a while to defeat, especially with all the stuff flying around it. However, instead of a shoot-pause-shoot-pause, (imagine like a 4/4 time in piano)it's instead shoot-shoot-pause-pause. Like Railgun Turrets in later levels, this guy shoots exceedingly fast projectiles. Technically not a boss, but is the strongest entity in the level, so I count it as a miniboss. Blow it up and don't face another "boss" for 2 levels. After the Filter Cannons and Laser Twister are defeated, the boss is pretty much helpless. The helicopters, by the way, don't need to be defeated to keep the 100% enemy streak. The Laser is similar, shooting, pausing, etc. Near the back, Filter Cannons shoot 5 lines of 6 bullets, pausing afterward. Phase two has two ridiculously-high hp helicopters bringing a Laser Twister. Phase 2 will not begin when the two Chain Guns are not destroyed. Once the Rocket Launcher is gone, Phase 2 Starts.

The Rocket Launcher sways, but once the two Chain Guns are destroyed, it starts targeting the player. SAMs are much more dangerous and powerful. Also, just for clarification, rockets are red/white, and SAMs are black. The first boss to have two phases, the first is where two Chain Guns (blue bullets) and a Rocket Launcher. I guess this boss can TANK a lot of hits! Hahahaha.sorry. Like the Twisted Vengeance, it has only 1 phase. If you don't understand, look at the boss's chopper blades and you will see what I mean. Every ~12 seconds (I lost count, add a better number), it will release a blast almost exactly like the Red Directional Cannon(s). It starts with a Chain Gun (purple bullets) on both sides, and a double-laser at the front. However, on every harder difficulty, it spawns ON the platform where the seven survivors are. One important thing about this boss is that in normal mode, it spawns in the chasm at the end of the level. Since this is the first boss, that's all there is to it. The boss starts with a Chain Gun (blue bullets) in the center and four single-shots, two on either side. With things that have a (*) at the end of it, look at the bottom of the page for details.Īlso, add the uses of power-ups (Laser, Bomb, Shield) if you would like.
